We will strive to ensure that selling your home with Burnell’s couldn’t be simpler – starting with an expert and realistic market appraisal provided by our Director, John H Burnell BSc MRICS NAEA, a Chartered Valuation Surveyor, who has been valuing property in the area since 1982. None of our competitors can offer you this service. We aim to achieve the best possible price for our clients’ homes within their required timescale, and more importantly, the advice we give is always realistic and not meant to mislead or flatter clients purely to win an instruction.

The next step involves our marketing team producing what we consider to be the area’s leading full colour brochures with floor plans and high quality photography. A draft brochure and our contract are then sent to our clients, who quite often prefer to call in to get the ball rolling quicker. The Home Information Pack is ordered and a marketing campaign is formalised which includes effective newspaper advertising and maximum on-line marketing exposure. We always provide truthful and accurate feedback following viewings to ensure that you have the opportunity to carry out any minor ‘tweaking’ to enhance your property’s saleability combined with regular progress reports with advice and market analysis. We can even offer tips on how to present your home to make it more enticing to potential buyers.

Once a buyer is found and the price agreed our team who are highly trained and experienced in sales progression ensure the transaction is handled smoothly and efficiently by chasing mortgage brokers, surveyors and solicitors right up to your moving day.
